FAQs What does 'non-auditioning mean and can anyone join?'
Non-auditioning means that there is no voice test, and yes, anyone can join. Some of our strongest and most enthusuastic singers had never sung in a choir before. However, we do always like potential new members to know that singing in an acappella choir is quite challenging - and you have to do homework!
We are a supportive community and provide professionally made tracks to learn from. Learning how to hold a harmony against other voices is the craft we work on every week. Once you can hold a part, you will be ready to perform with the choir. If pitching in with other voices remains a problem, you might consider trying a choir that uses backing tracks.
We think that a cappella is worth the effort - and hopefully you will too!
